We remove invasives such as buckthorn and honeysuckle. We can provide alternative shrubs that are native to this area as well as other native plants that will enhance your surroundings.

About A2 Garden Guides
Hello, we are Joel & Anna Cronenwett, a husband and wife team providing personal garden guidance for our neighbors in SE Michigan. An outdoor space that you enjoy being in will improve your quality of life. We would love to create that space for you whether it's a quiet shade garden retreat or a vibrant border that perfectly frames the yard where your family plays. Whether you want rare specimens or you want to actively nurture native species, we will cultivate the garden that's right for you.
As Ann Arbor natives, we go above and beyond to form lasting relationships with our clients. We look forward to getting to know you and your landscape over many years.
In addition to over 15 years experience in private and commercial landscaping, Joel has a degree from the University of Michigan with a focus on botany and two years leading land restorations in Illinois. This guy knows his plants! With training and experience in organic urban farming and landscaping, Anna can provide unique ways to incorporate edible plants and permaculture elements into your landscape design.
Together, we have a passion for plants and the many ways they enrich our lives: the beautiful interplay of colors and textures, the sound of the wind through the trees, the smells carried with the oxygen they've produced, and the ecosystems they help create that make Michigan one of the most perfect places to live on Earth.
